Heart-led change doesn’t ask for perfection; it asks for presence. This week we share a vivid energy update from the Akashic Records that frames “building the light” as a daily, doable practice—more like making steady deposits into a savings account than sprinting toward a finish line.

Through a playful vision of bricklayers crafting a luminous temple, we ground a big spiritual idea in small, tangible rituals that anyone can use right now. We also explore eclipse season, Nine of Earth themes, and practical ways to ground, renew, and act from the heart.

Key themes include:

• playful image of light builders and what it means for daily life
• reassurance that listeners already build light through conscious choices
• simple practices that nourish heart and soul
• light as a savings account for future courage and dreams
• eclipse and Pisces season shifts and why grounding matters
• journaling prompts to reframe, regroup, and renew
• tarot focus on Nine of Earth and grounded abundance
• gratitude as currency that aligns us with sufficiency

Brick by brick, choice by choice, your inner light grows—and its ripple steadies your family, your work, and your wider world.

If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who needs steadiness, and leave a review to help others find the show. What is the smallest practice you’ll use to build your light today? We’d love to hear.

Tune in next week for a new episode to support and empower your light.

SPEAKER_00:

Aloha, everybody. Welcome to Your Heart Magic. This is Dr. Bethane Kapansky Wright. And for this week's energy update from the Akashic Records, the theme that we are working with is Building the Light. I love this message from the records. It feels so affirming to me. And when the image came through, it was kind of playful, which is very in keeping with how the records are. There can be a lightness to them and a metaphor sense and a creative sense, a creative quality sometimes when I'm bringing these messages through. And I saw all these builders and they were like Mario Brothers or something like that. They were like building these bricks, but they were filled with light. And it was like building this big temple of light. And it was so beautiful. And the message individually really translates to that is us right now. Each of us in our own way are encouraged to continue to think about building our legacy of light, building our stockpile of light, building an investment, saving our light in the ways that we can. And I want to clarify what exactly that means. It is not necessarily that you need to do something differently than what you might already be doing in your life to build your light. You are already doing that. The choices you make, your spiritual connection, the fact that you're even tuning in and interested in a podcast like your Heart Magic and connecting with the Akashic Records, connecting with spiritual information. That right there says that you are building your light. You are a conscious-minded individual who is trying to live more open-hearted in this world. And I always say that's not about doing any of it perfectly. We are human, but it is about having that mindset and having that awareness that there is so much more than meets the eye and so much magic and wonder and intelligence in this amazing universe. So please know you are already actively doing this work. But for this week specifically, and really for eclipse season is how this felt. Whenever I bring these weekly energy updates through, it's not like they're only good for one week and then they expire. All of these are really weaving together to support our growth in the year 2026. And right now, anything that you do that helps you nourish the light inside of you is one of the ways that you can work on building your light at this time. So anything that you might do that constitutes your spiritual practice, if you do any meditation, any breath work, you might be somebody who connects spiritually through nature. That is a beautiful way to foster the light inside of ourselves and to be in touch with our soul and our heart energy, heart chakra energy, the portal of our heart. You might have a tarot practice, some sort of oracle card, journaling practice, creative practice. You might be an intention setter, you might be somebody who mindfully goes through your day and tries to make the act of simple daily task a ritual and an offering a love letter to the universe. This is really about intention. It's not so much that you have to do something in order to build your light. If you feel like you have to work really hard at it, then you might be missing the boat. When it comes to our spiritual connection, we want to invite in things that, yes, they might take a little bit of discipline. If we're spinning out in worry and we have to force ourselves to move into a breath work practice or a meditation practice, there might be a little bit of lifting in there that we have to mindfully shift gears, but it shouldn't be something that you feel like you need to go do all this stuff or adopt a new practice, nothing that wouldn't resonate with your heart. I suspect everybody listening to this already has ideas for what they do to come into their heart connection. So, whatever that is for you, this is an excellent time to invest in those things. And what I felt with this is that a wonderful metaphor is if we were putting money in a savings and we do a little bit, and then we kind of have like a big splurge where there's something we saved up for, and we get that amount and we say, Yay, no, I can go on that trip, or I can enroll in that class, or I can perhaps buy this thing for myself I've really been wanting, or do this thing for my family. And so that's what it feels like when we talk about building the light, that we are kind of stockpiling it away, not out of greed, not to keep it to ourselves, not in a way that we're clinging to it, but more in a way that we are mindfully creating a reserve of it. Because what I felt is that we're going to need it. We are going to need it as like rocket feel to move some of our hopes and dreams and path forward. So this really feels like an investment, not only in the collective, right? Whenever we're in our light, we know it creates ripple effects and it helps those around us. I know I'm certainly a much better Beth Anne when I'm a grounded Beth Ann than if I'm in my mind or in my anxiety or stressed out about something when I'm actively in my heart connection. I know that not only serves me, but it really helps support anybody that I might interact with, whether it's in a small way, where my really small interactions are a little bit lighter, or it's in a bigger way and I feel better equipped to move in the circles that I'm called to move in. I also feel like this message is an extension of the extreme self-care message that we had last week, I believe, where we were really guided to keep coming into our hearts, keep coming into our core self and stay close to our hearts at this time, stay close to what matters to us. It is eclipse season. A lot continues to change. There's a lot happening cosmically and astrologically. We're shifting into Pisces season. The astrological new year is coming up in March. The lunar new year is happening on the cusp of this new moon. And so there's so much happening cosmically at this time. And we certainly know there's quite a bit going on in the world and the collective around us, in our family units, perhaps, or community units. And so when we are in our heart connection, when we take the time for that self-care and actively work on the kind of self-care that keeps us anchored in whatever our spiritual connection, whatever our understanding of our light is, that helps keep us rooted. It helps keep us grounded, and it helps keep us in our higher perspective. And we need perspective right now. We need perspective to help us find our wisdom in many of the changes going on in our personal lives and in the world around us. Good journaling prompts this week are how can I redirect my energy at this time to reframe and regroup and renew my light? So perhaps breaking down some of the different aspects of your life and thinking about do I need to reframe this? How can I regroup in this? Is there a way to practice self-care and to renew myself and being mindful of those kinds of questions? Another wonderful journaling prompt is just writing a list of what practices connect me to my light and thinking about what it is for you that lights your heart up. The one caveat that the Akashic record said on this is don't overthink it. If you have to think really hard about this question, then you're probably thinking too hard about this question. Simple things go a long way. It could be something like putting stickers in my journal. I do that. I think I've talked about that on here. I love to sit in my journal and put stickers into it. And I find it so soothing. It could be something playful, something whimsical, something with your fur baby, the animals in your household. It can be little things. It doesn't always have to be something serious and spiritual. So don't overthink this question. Just allow for whatever comes through. Our tarot card of the week is a beautiful card. I love this card. It's the nine of earth. And when I pulled this, I felt like we've seen it recently. And I've been using the good tarot deck quite a bit for various spreads that I've been doing for myself and others. So I cannot remember if I pulled this on the podcast or if it's just popped up in a personal reading or for somebody else lately. But the nine of earth is one of my favorite cards and the tarot deck. It is about completion, self-sufficiency, being in a place where we feel secure materially. We feel in a stable place within ourselves. This is a card of abundance. And it's a card about having not only material abundance where we recognize that we have enough and feeling good about how we've been part of the creation of wealth around us, wealth being all sorts of things, whether that is financial resources, creativity resources, your home space, your sanctuary space, perhaps it's how you care for others. There are so many ways that we can understand abundance and prosperity that are so much bigger than just money. And so looking at really how have you been a creatrix of the wealth in your life, the prosperity in your life, and feeling a sense of ease and peace and contentment with that. Gratitude goes a long way. We know it's really important. We know it is currency for the soul. And the way that we say thank you so much for these amazing things, universe. And thank you for giving me the capability and efficacy to contribute and create this pathway for myself. Thank you for adding to it with your energy. And as I say thank you, we know we also align with the vibration of like, yes, please, like more of this, uh, whatever keeps moving us along to the highest good. Key words from the guidebook, and this is from the Good Tarot by Call It There and Reed, are discipline, self-reliance, restraint, and self-control, the final stone placed, and the foundation. And the affirmations that are given to us from this guidebook are I know I can rely on myself in spirit. There are many tools at my disposal, and I use my resources wisely, solidifying the foundation of my security and the material world. I am diligent and disciplined, focused on completing the work I began long ago. I stick to my program, trusting that the plan is unfolding before me exactly as spirit intended. What a beautiful message to go along with the idea of building our light at this time. I will be back next week with a new Your Heart Magic episode and a new energy update. In the meantime, have an amazing week. Happy Lunar New Year to everybody. And as always, be well, be love, be you, and be magic.
