As we move through the Solstice portal and enter Cancer season, this week's Akashic Records bring forward a simple but powerful message:

Keep your faith in the light.

The Records showed the image of a radiant heart—light pouring outward from within—and spoke of greater access to the heart, a spirit of goodwill, and a reminder that growth does not need to be rushed.

In a world that often encourages us to maximize every opportunity and treat every supportive moment as our "one chance," this week's guidance invites something different:

🌿 trust the path you're already walking
🌿 trust the seeds you've already planted
🌿 trust that growth continues even when you're not forcing it

In this episode, we explore:

☀️ The Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, and how both invite us to honor the light

🌊 The shift from Gemini into Cancer season and the movement from thinking into feeling, intuition, home, belonging, and emotional nourishment

🌱 Chiron's move into Taurus and themes of healing around self-worth, stability, values, abundance, and enoughness

💎 An oracle card message from The Jewelry Box Oracle

🎨 Reflection prompts to help you honor your own inner light and the next season of your journey

This week's energy reminds us that we are not meant to force every moment into productivity.

Sometimes growth happens because we trust.

Because we soften.

Because we allow ourselves to receive.

Aloha, and welcome to Your Heart Magic, an illuminating space where psychology, spirituality, and heart wisdom meet. Here's your host, Dr. Bethane Kapansky Wright, author, psychologist, and spiritual educator.

SPEAKER_01

Aloha, everybody. Welcome to Your Heart Magic. This is Dr. Bethane Kapansky Wright. And we are full swing into June. And as always, we are talking spirituality today, an energy update, some psychological perspective, and how to apply some of these ideas and some creative prompts as well. And this week is all about the heart, which I love

Trusting Heart Wisdom Through Change

SPEAKER_01

so much. And I have been opening these episodes with some sort of personal reflection. And I was thinking today of a story to share that maybe illustrates a time that I've been connected to my heart or a time that I've trusted in my heart. And I had a really hard time choosing because the fact of the matter is that for me, listening to our hearts and working with the intelligence of our hearts is fundamental to my understanding of my own path. It's what I teach, it's what your heart magic is all about. Heart is literally in the title of this podcast. And the idea that our heart has this magic, this intelligence, this light, this essence, and this meaning-making ability to it, that if we can listen to it and quiet the noise in our mind and come into that space inside of us, that light inside, the wisdom and the truth inside, that that helps us navigate the journey with so much more grace and peace and assurance. Even when it looks like things are tilting sideways, our life is going upside down. And for myself, I think every good thing in my life has come from a heart-based decision. It has come from listening to the wisdom within and really coming into that still voice inside of my heart. I was recently working on an essay for an anthology that I'm participating in. And the entire premise of this chapter that I was writing was connecting these ideas around various times of transformation and dark nights of the soul that I've been through in my life. But the common thread was really love and the heart, and the idea that when I could stay with myself and stay with my process and stay with my own transformation and changes and stay in my heart through that. My heart always tells me just stay the course. Don't abandon yourself in this. Utilize your spiritual connection. Go out in nature, take a breath. It's always these simple wisdoms that have gotten me through and this idea that I don't want to close my heart off to life. I want good boundaries. I want to learn to work with my traumas and griefs and heartaches and learn from those. I want to grow in discernment, but I don't want to be callous or jaded or bitter or cynical. I want to keep finding a way to live heart-inspired in this difficult, challenging, and beautiful world. If I had to talk about that wisdom and motion in my life right now, I think I've been talking about it on the podcast and talking about taking more space and time. And I did this mindful May, and I've been doing a lot of reevaluation and am just going through a time in life of really wanting to be present for life happening around me, present for my family, present for aging parents, present and available to myself and my soul, and making sure that I am connected to my heart and following that path and not just falling into what I think I should be doing or how things should be looking. So lately that's just meant taking more space. I haven't been on Instagram at all. I've continued my podcast and continued my creative work and my professional work, but I've taken a step back from a lot of different ways where I was perhaps fragmenting my energy or sharing more openly and am just spending a lot of time and self-reflection right now, which I think is really valuable to all of us from time to time. And that's kind of where my heart's at. And so I love the message from the Akashic this week because it's such encouragement for our heart path and such encouragement right now, wherever you find yourself to continue to stay with yourself on your own

Akashic Message On Heart Light

SPEAKER_01

path. The message this week is very gentle. It's very heart-centered. And I think after many months where we have been going through this intensity of transformation and release and recalibration, learning to trust the direction we're headed, the Akashic Records this week took it all back to the heart and gave us this very simple message to keep your faith in the light right now. When I opened the records to bring a message through for this podcast, the first image that I saw was this radiant heart, this beautiful heart with light shooting out of it, and so much radiance and so much warmth to it. And there was this glow coming from within this heart, almost like a sacred heart image. And light was pouring outwards in all directions. And the records immediately began speaking about our heart light, the light that we carry, the light that we cultivate, and the light within that is ever present, even when life feels uncertain. So the records describe this week as a time of expanded access to the heart. And there's a sense of great openness to the energy, greater warmth and connection. And I also felt this beautiful energy of goodwill, a spirit of goodwill, cosmic generosity, almost like there was this energetic overlay right now where there is more kindness or more goodwill towards each other. And that felt really uplifting to me. Their records emphasize that many people had been carrying around a lot of mental fatigue. And I think right now in this world, there's been so many messages around maximizing and optimization and doing more, moving faster, making every opportunity count. And while there's definitely value and conscious action, and there are times in life that we feel this rightness to striking while the iron is hot, the records were very clear on the energy this week. And they said, this is not your only chance. And they spoke about how often we create this false urgency around growth, as though every time there's a supportive energy window that we almost have to exploit that or maximize it, optimize it in the moment, or we're going to miss that window. We miss the lucky day astrologically, or we miss the full moon ceremony and you know can't manifest again until the next 28 days, or we miss the solstice, or whatever it is. And it's this idea that uh sometimes we get into that if we don't use every ounce of momentum perfectly, that we somehow miss the opportunity. And that's not really what the spiritual path is about. I don't think that's really how energy consistently works either. It's definitely not what this week is about. So the records described this week is more of this fertile soil. And there's just this sense of supportive energy, that it's a really good time for planting, reflecting, receiving, and trusting, but never forcing. And the reminder from the records is we can return to this energy. We can return to what we're growing. We can keep planting seeds. We don't have to squeeze and wring out every possibility from this moment. We just have to participate in it in whatever way we're able to right now. And that is going to vary for each of us based on our energy and where we're at in life and how much we have to give or not give. And so you can meet yourself and meet this energy wherever you're at right now with trust that whatever you do or don't do, it's perfect. It's exactly enough. It's exactly enough for your journey at this point in time. And I love this guidance. It felt really important and reassuring to me. It felt like one of those wisdoms that will often come through from the records that feels applicable to more than just the weekly energy. I think that it emphasizes being and receptivity and trusting and not forcing. And that's really important to balance out some of the overdoing energies and over-maximization, over-information, over everything that I think we're often faced with in the modern day world.

Releasing False Urgency And Forcing

SPEAKER_01

So astrologically, we've got super nourishing energy coming in as well. The sun is entering cancer on June 20th. And we're going from this Gemini season where it's been about mental energy, curiosity, communication, connection, exploration. And cancer energy is much more watery. It's emotional, nurturing, intuitive, protective, heart-centered, and connected to home, family, belonging, and our inner life. So cancer is asking us to move from what am I thinking into what am I feeling? And what does my heart know? What does my heart have to say about that? As a water sign ruled by the moon, Cancer invites us into a more intuitive relationship with ourselves. So it's less about analyzing, overthinking, performing, and again, more about receptivity, being self-grace, self-compassion, self-nurture. And I love how much this ties into the heart theme that we've got going on in the Akashic message this week, because the whole emphasis right now is not on doing more. It's on connecting to our hearts at this time and connecting to the light inside.

Cancer Season And Solstice Cycles

SPEAKER_01

And speaking of light, on June 21st, we have solstice going on. And I love solstice. I love solstices in Equinox. They're always these really sacred turning points of the year where we get to measure quarterly or midway progress. And for listeners in the northern hemisphere, this is the summer solstice. So it's the longest day in this full expression of light. But I know we have some listeners in the southern hemisphere as well. So I don't want to leave you out. It's winter solstice in your part of the world. And that's more about the longest night and more of a sacred turning inward and focusing on the return of the light. But regardless of where we live, what I love about both of these teachings is that the emphasis is really on the light. It's about honoring the light. And whether the light is fully visible around you and you're celebrating the longest day, or you are trusting that the light is still there and it's darker in your part of the world. The invitation is the same. It's this reminder at solstice time that life moves in cycles and growth moves in cycles, healing moves in cycles. Life is cyclical. And so we're not meant to always stay in perpetual light and perpetual expansion. And we're not meant to stay in hibernation or darkness or retreat. There's wisdom in both. And on this path, we're meant to explore both and learn the intelligence of all aspects of being and that all phases and cycles are valid. So what I loved about the records image of this heart and their heart-based message this week is that it feels really synchronistic with solstice and the emphasis that regardless of what the sun is doing in your part of the world, that the light within can't be dimmed. And that the true light is internal. It's in the light of the heart and the light of compassion and hope and trust and the light that we always have access to when we take the time to listen and to drop in words.

Chiron In Taurus And Self-Worth

SPEAKER_01

So we also have Chiron that is moving into Taurus on June 19th. And I don't have the exact dates written down, but I believe it's going to be hanging out there and then popping back into Aries for a little bit before it permanently takes up camp there. Chiron is pretty slow moving, it circles all the way around a natal chart about every 47, 48 to 50 years, somewhere in there. So it's going to be in Taurus for a while. And it is a shift as it's moving into Taurus. Chiron's often referred to as the wounded healer. As a psychologist and somebody who really works in the field of transformation and healing, I always have a real affinity for Chiron and the idea of the wounded healer and the wounded healer archetype. And in an astro chart, it points to areas where healing and growth and wisdom and deeper self-understanding are emerging. So Chiron often represents not only where we might hold a wound, but also how we're healing that wound and how we're coming into greater wholeness. So some of the themes in Taurus include self-worth, stability, safety values, relationship with our body and the earth, abundance and receiving. And as we move into this new cycle, we are going to be working with themes around what truly makes me feel secure. What do I value most deeply? How do I cultivate self-worth from within? What does enough feel like? And I think this kind of echoes what the records have been saying about moving away from scarcity and urgency and moving into a time where we are coming into a deeper relationship and understanding of our innate value and our enoughness, and that our worth is not dependent on constant striving, that we are enough exactly as we are at any given point in

Oracle Card Be In Your Heart

SPEAKER_01

time. For our Oracle card reading this week, I chose the card be in your heart. And the key words are compassion, presence, love, trust, connection, and inner light. And the message from the card is your heart carries wisdom that cannot always be accessed through thinking alone. This card invites you to soften into your heart space and allow it to guide you. You do not need to force your next step or manufacture certainty. Return to your heart and return to your values. Return to the quiet wisdom that already lives within you. The light you seek is not outside of you. It has always been with you. Trust its guidance, trust its timing, and trust its presence. So I have an idea for a creative reflection or prompt this week, and then a couple journaling

Creative Color Prompt And Journaling

SPEAKER_01

prompts. Our creative prompt is connect with your heart and ask it, what color are you today? I love doing this in meditations with people. And I like to do this sometimes when I need to connect with my own heart and want to do it in a more playful, joyful way. And I'll just ask the question, what color is my heart today? And just listen intuitively to whatever comes through. And then if you want to work with this creatively, draw it out and draw out a color or an illustration, or you could write a poem about it or do a journal entry. There's a lot of interpretations for how to connect with your heart and how to creatively represent that energy. But I feel like creativity makes our hearts happy. And when we think creatively and use creative means of connecting with our heart, I feel like we get a lot of wisdom that we might not always access through our really logical, rational mind. And then good journaling prompts for this week are what has recently expanded in my life? Where am I creating a necessary urgency? What seeds have I already planted that deserve trust? And what helps me reconnect to my heart? And how can I honor the light within me during this solstice season?

Trust Your Timing And Close

SPEAKER_01

So as we move into this week, it's not a week of doing more. It's a week of listening to our hearts and trusting whatever it is that they're guiding us to do. And for some of us, that might be a lot of heart-based activity that we just feel inspired to create or to go do or to move our energy in a certain way. But if you're in a place right now where you are listening and receiving, that is plenty as well. This is really about you doing you and trusting in the heart and trusting in the light inside, trusting in life cycles and trusting in whatever cycle you find yourself in at this time and finding those ways to continue to keep faith in your heart, keep faith in the light inside, and listen to your personal heart magic. So, with that, have an amazing solstice. Thank you for joining me on the podcast today. I will be back next week with a new Your Heart Magic episode. And as always, be love, be well, be you, and be magic.
