As we step into July, the Akashic Records bring a refreshing message of expansion, possibility, and hope.

The Records opened with the image of a vast field of wildflowers beneath an endless blue sky—a reminder that sometimes healing isn't about doing more, but about allowing ourselves to see more. This week's energy invites us to widen our perspective, embrace new possibilities, and trust that growth doesn't have to happen all at once.

In this episode, we explore the Akashic guidance for the week alongside the astrology of Jupiter's entrance into Leo, a powerful year-long transit that encourages creativity, confidence, authentic self-expression, and stepping into a bigger vision for your life. We also touch on Mercury retrograde in Cancer, Neptune retrograde, and the importance of moving through this season with curiosity rather than urgency.

We'll also explore:

✨ An oracle card message from The Jewelry Box Oracle

🧠 A psychological perspective on sustainable growth, cognitive flexibility, and enjoying inspiration without turning every idea into another obligation

🎨 Journaling prompts and creative reflections to help you dream, imagine, and reconnect with what feels possible

This week's reminder is simple:

You don't have to maximize every opportunity.

You don't have to accomplish everything at once.

Sometimes the most meaningful growth comes from allowing yourself to breathe deeply, appreciate the openness before you, and trust that life will continue unfolding in its own beautiful timing.

🎧 Listen now on Your Heart Magic, and if this episode resonates with you, I'd love for you to subscribe, leave a review, or share it with someone who could use a reminder that there is more possibility ahead than they may realize.

SPEAKER_01

Aloha, everybody. Welcome to Your Heart Magic. This is Dr. Bethane Kapansky Wright, and we have a lot of energy to talk about this week. The Akashic Records have a message for us. There's a lot of different things happening astrologically.

The Akashic Message Of Expansion

SPEAKER_01

And as always, we're weaving psychology and creativity into the podcast because that is what we do on Your Heart Magic, where psychology, spirituality, and creativity meet. So have you ever had the feeling that comes when you might be on an airplane? Perhaps you get up above the clouds and everything looks really small in the distance, and there's this lifting that comes from it, or this sense of expanded horizons, or maybe you've sat by a body of water, the ocean, or a big lake, or step someplace, and there's just these wide open spaces, and you feel your heart lift, and there's this sense of expansion around it. I used to love climbing mountains back when I lived in Alaska for many reasons, but one of them was the view up top. And even now in Kauai, though, our mountains are much smaller. Whenever I get up high and can look down, and everything feels so much more smaller, and I've got this widened perspective. And when I opened the Akashic Records for this week, the image that I saw was actually of a vast field of wildflowers stretching towards an endless blue sky. And in the records themselves, there was this sense of openness, fresh air, possibility, the kind of place for you instinctively take a deep breath, and your body eases and your spirit feels just a little lighter. And that feeling became the message for this week. The records described this week with a handful of beautiful words. They use the words expansion, widening, opportunity, opening, limitless, and not limitless because there are suddenly no boundaries at all, but limitless because our imagination begins remembering that there are more possibilities than fear often allows us to see. So the record shared for this week that many of us have been preparing for the energy. They actually said we've spent the first half of the year preparing for what is to come, and that the work we've been doing over the past several months through releasing and reflecting, healing, simplification, trusting our direction, we've been focusing our attention, returning to harmony, all of it's been preparing the soil. And now we're beginning to experience a widening, almost as if we can see even further onto the horizon. And it's not because the horizon moved further away and there's more work to do, but it's because we can see further. Our perspective has been opening. So there's this really expansive energy that's happening this week. And one of my favorite things that the record said about this energy is don't feel like you have to do everything at once. And don't feel like you have to choose everything. If you start to open up and possibilities and opportunities start to come your way, don't feel like you have to capitalize on every opportunity simply because the energy feels supportive. The guidance for this week is just to enjoy it. Enjoy feeling inspired, enjoy allowing your mind to play with ideas, enjoy wondering what might be possible without immediately turning every possibility into another task. So, in other words, enjoy the view this week without necessarily having to think about what comes next. One of the things that I loved about this message, and the records re-emphasize this again, is that energy is not scarce. Opportunity is not scarce, growth is not scarce. We're not going to miss our life because we don't optimize every energetic window. And so I feel like they've been giving us this consistent message all year when we have these openings and the energy that it's been coming with this reminder of do what you can with this opening, do what inspires you, but don't feel like you have to do everything. Our culture runs with such conditioning to maximize everything, to hustle. And the records are reminding us that transformation happens at a sustainable pace. And this ties back in with this message they shared at the beginning of 2026, and they referenced the year of the horse. And at the time there was anticipation around that coming up in the lunar new year. And they talked about the idea that yes, there's going to be movement this year, and there's going to be acceleration, and there's going to be these moments where life is galloping forwards, but there's also going to be pauses and breathing spaces and integration and healing. And so a lot of this year is about these expansions, and then we might see a contraction, and then we might expand again, and then we might have a little bit of a still point or an integration time, followed by another expansion. And so when we have those moments, those ebbs and flows, the ebbs are not about stagnancy. The rhythms aren't interruption to growth. They're part of the growth. So just remember wherever you're at on your path, when you hear and receive this message that you are growing at a rate that is perfect for you, and you can trust the ebbs and flows and cycles in your own journey.

Astrology Aligns With The Records

SPEAKER_01

So astrologically, the energy really supports a feeling of widening this week and expansion this week. And one of my favorite things about opening the Akashic records, getting the message for the week. And then a lot of times after that is when I'll look at what's happening astrologically. And sometimes I already have some of the transits in mind because I follow all of it and track it. But sometimes I don't really know what's going on and I need to reorient myself. And sometimes the messages, the two energies are complementary. Sometimes they might be a little bit different and speak to things from a different angle. And every now and then they are totally in sync. And I feel like this week the Akashic and the astrology is totally in sync. One of the biggest things going on is Jupiter's entering Leo. This is happening on June 30th, I believe. And it's one of the biggest astrological shifts. At least that's what I'm feeling in the energy. And Jupiter changes signs only about once every year. It takes about 12 years to travel through the entire zodiac. So whenever Jupiter changes signs, it acts almost like a magnifying glass and it amplifies the qualities of whatever sign it enters. And for the past year, it's been moving through cancer. And for all of us, it's been supporting growth around emotional healing, belonging, themes of home and heart. And now as it's entering Leo, the energy begins expanding outward again. So we're going from this inward to outward. And Leo is the sign of creativity, joy, confidence, playfulness, authentic self-expression, leadership, and finding the courage to be seen. And this energy isn't necessarily about becoming louder, it's just about becoming more fully ourselves and feeling empowered and feeling confident and whoever we understand ourselves to be and being that authentic self. So there's this beautiful, gorgeous invitation that's going to be going on in this transit to stop shrinking and to allow our gifts and creativity and heart to become more visible. And remember that our light isn't here to stay hidden. We're here to shine. Jupiter expands everything it touches. So with that expansive energy, things can feel a little bit ungrounded. We do need that counterbalance of groundedness to help anchor expansion. So we are also going to be working with the idea that expansion doesn't require excess. Confidence doesn't require comparison. Creativity doesn't require perfection. And finding those places where we might do a little bit of self-work and keep our ego in check when we start to fall into those things. And remember that this is not a transit that's about this magnification of our ego. That's not what Jupiter and Leo is about. It's about wholeheartedness and finding that wholeheartedness within us and living and shining and creating and being from a wholehearted place. So the last time Jupiter was in Leo was in 2014, and you might want to reflect on what was going on for you during that time. For me, interestingly enough, I'm a Leo. My son's in Leo. My birthday is later this month. And 2014 was a really good year for me. It wasn't a perfect year, but I had a lot of really golden things happening from uh wedding planning to just being in a really good period in life of feeling like I was coming home to myself, feeling empowered in my writing. So I am looking forward to this transit and some of the positive energies that this might bring. We also have Mercury continuing its retrograde, and it has been retrograding through cancer that started on June 29th at the beginning of the week. And Jupiter is encouraging us to dream bigger, but Mercury is asking us as we do that to stay emotionally honest. So this retrograde is this invitation to continue reflecting, continue healing, and continue listening to our hearts and listening to ourselves. So we have this really beautiful expansive energy that's mixed with this retrograde energy. And I feel like this combination is really about helping us find an anchor to fly, that we have this expansive, widening possibilities going on, and I think a lifting where we might feel uplifted into new flight. And yet, this retrograde is keeping us anchored into our authenticity and into our groundedness and into our wholeheartedness. We also have Neptune going into retrograde on July 7th. And Neptune is very slow moving. So this isn't a big flashy retrograde, but it will invite another layer of spiritual clarity. And it is the reminder that sometimes our dreams become more clear when we slow down. This is a transit that is going to encourage healing, simplifying rather than chasing, and listening rather than forcing. So it feels like it's deeply aligned with the record's invitation to appreciate possibility without immediately demanding productivity from ourselves or demanding that we interpret and do something about the possibility coming in, but allowing ourselves time and space to listen and to be. And then there's been a lot of talk about this huge conjunction that's happening on July 4th. Mars is conjuncting Uranus, and it is probably one of the most dynamic transits of the week. Mars meeting Uranus can bring surprises, unexpected changes, breakthroughs, changes in plans, sudden inspiration. If things don't unfold exactly as expected, practice flexibility, practice adaptation, practice staying in flow and going with the flow if surprise twists come your way. It's hard to know how this transit will come up. And a lot of people who really track astrology are talking about potential impact on the collective or on the bigger picture of things. But for us personally, we can work with this transit and remember that if we can stay flexible, fluid, and adapted, sometimes life throws us curveballs. And sometimes life opens a better door than the one we were originally trying to walk through, and we can learn to lean in and trust and stay in the flow, even as we move through potential sudden shifts, or as I like to think of it, a time where we're working with transformative possibilities.

Oracle Card Become Your Dream

SPEAKER_01

All right, our Oracle card for the week. I chose the card become your dream. And key words are expansion, possibility, authentic expression, vision, growth, and trust. And the essence and message of this card is the future isn't asking you to become someone else, it is inviting you to become more fully yourself. You don't have to force your becoming. Allow yourself to imagine more. Not because every dream needs immediate action, but because your imagination is one of the ways your soul remembers what is possible. Some dreams are meant to be lived slowly. Some possibilities simply need room to breathe before they become reality. Trust that becoming is already happening.

Psychological Flexibility In Real Life

SPEAKER_01

So let's talk a little bit of psychological perspectives and mental health toolbox. This is absolutely a week that is calling for psychological flexibility. When we become overly attached to one outcome, we often miss many other possibilities. We all do it. We all fall into this tunnel vision sometimes, or having a really heavy expectation or idea of how something should look. And sometimes we might miss the gift that's right in front of us, or we might miss the perspective shift that's waiting to be seen from a different point of view. I think a lot of times when we are struggling with making a choice or struggling with a decision in our life, and we keep going back and forth, and it's not quite clear, and we're trying to figure out the right thing to do, that we can work with the idea of instead of saying to ourselves, what if I choose wrong? asking, what possibilities haven't I considered yet? Even some of the stories we tell ourselves or the set points that we might have and how we're thinking about something or looking at something, it's a really good challenge sometimes to say, is there another way to look at this? If I were to tell the story of my day or to look at this through a different lens, what other ideas might I see? What patterns might I see? What possibilities might I consider that I'm not currently looking at? So a supportive practice for this is just to think about expanding our window of possibility this week. So you might notice where your mind wants to narrow and where you might have a tendency to feel like this is the only way, or it should be done this way, or I should have done X by now, or something that is a little bit more black and white, an old rut that you're in, an old story that you're telling yourself, and work on gently saying to yourself what else might be possible? What's another way of looking at this? How could I bring compassion into this space? How might I tell this story if I told it through a more compassionate or grace-filled lens? Something that I really love this week that we can practice doing is enjoy feeling inspired without obligation. I love this guidance from the record so much. I think it's often because when we feel inspired or feel like something's opening up, oftentimes it kind of comes with this idea that we have to do something about it right away. Like there's a big window of inspiration opening. You better hop on it. And I think oftentimes when we feel inspired, we do feel moved to act. And so there can be these organic extensions of actions or activities that we might do that come from that inspiration. But the idea that every good idea doesn't require immediate action and that we can just allow ideas to exist. We can journal about them, sketch about them, play with them. We can make a list of all the different possibilities that we could do. What things might you like to do in the second half of 2026? And could you just write all that out and play with having ideas and possibilities without forcing yourself to commit to doing them or making yourself choose one? But just playing with the idea of here's all these different things I could learn or experience or do that I could tap into somehow. And remembering that not every seed has to be planted today. Sometimes it's just fun to collect seeds and see what's there and get in touch with your imagination again. And then something else that we can practice doing this week is thinking about our path in terms of sustainable growth and continuing to ask ourselves the question: can I grow in a way that still feels like me? Right? We've got this big expansive energy and this twofold message that's saying, Hey, heads up, big energy coming your way, but no pressure. How can you work with this in a way that feels sustainable to you? How can you pursue your dreams without abandoning your nervous system? Growth doesn't need to be exhausting to be meaningful. So I often find that people really shortchange themselves on allowing for micro steps and micro growth that oftentimes it's a tendency to take on too much at once or to not give ourselves credit for these teeny tiny ways that we could show up for something. And so, really giving yourself permission to think about where your life is at, what's sustainable to you, and how could you allow yourself to play with this energy in a way that also feels gentle and good to your nervous system.

Creative Prompts And Sustainable Growth

SPEAKER_01

For our creative reflection this week and some journaling prompts, I want you to imagine yourself standing in the wide open field from the records. Wildflowers are surrounding you, blue sky is stretching out in every direction. Absolutely sketch this out for fun, for a visual image, for something for a reference point. And then ask yourself the question: if nothing felt impossible, what would I become curious about? What things would you like to learn? What would you like to heal? Maybe you just like more space to be, or you'd like to be more curious about your relationship with you, maybe curious about your relationship with your spirituality? What kinds of things might you be curious about? And some grounded journaling prompts that go along with that image are where in my life am I beginning to experience more openness? What possibilities have I been too afraid to imagine? How can I enjoy inspiration without putting pressure on myself? What does sustainable growth look like for me? If I trusted there was enough time, how would I approach my dreams differently? Ooh, I love, love, love that last one. Like, what if all the dreams that you have are going to come true and you knew that and knew there'd be enough time for all your dreams or at least the essence of the dream, and that you could have a sense of satisfaction with your dreams. How might that help you approach them differently and approach how you think about your dreams differently? So this week's energy is reminding us that possibility itself can be healing. Sometimes we don't need immediate answers, we don't need immediate action. We just have to remember that there are more pathways than we realized, and that is what July is all about. It is this opening up of our gaze, opening up of perspective, opening up of pathways and opportunities, opening up of abundance, opening up of our hearts. And there is a lot in store for how that is going to continue to come through for the month ahead. So stay tuned. More to come for now. Happy July, everyone. Be safe and be well this holiday weekend. I will be back next week with a New Your Heart Magic podcast. And as always, be well, be love, be you, and be magic.
