Aloha, everybody. This is Dr. Bethan Kapamsky Wright, and welcome to Your Heart Magic. Today we're looking at the energy of November and looking at what is the energy for the month ahead. We are talking about what the Akashic Record shared about change, how to find a little bit of steadiness when life feels unsettled right now, and some of the astrology moving through the month. I will also be sharing a reflection from my own creative life and creative world at this time and our card of the month.
So a little refresher for context. Last month, the image from the records was the unexpected color. And it was the idea of a surprising piece entering a picture that had started to feel familiar. And November very much feels like a continuation of that message. And the idea that once something unexpected enters the picture, we may have to live with the movement it creates in our life. And so we might find ourselves adjusting, making decisions, or discovering that a part of life is changing shape at this time. When I opened the records for November of 2026, I had an image of oil heating in a frying pan. And it felt like things are heating up right now. As it warms, little particles begin to sizzle and jump. And if you focus on the individual movements and the things that feel jumpy right now, then the whole of it looks chaotic and frazzled. And yet the idea of this image is that underway, a larger process is taking place. And that image speaks to the feeling this month. Things might look bumpy or jumpy on the surface. Something around you may be shifting faster than you are able to make sense of. And the invitation from the record is to notice the movement without assuming that every sizzle tells you the story of what's going on in the whole pan. And that's the emphasis is the whole. What is happening as a whole when we can cut through some of that chaos and some of the things that might feel like jumpy or sparky or frazzled energy at this time? November carries a theme of transformation. And transformation often involves something changing form, even while important parts of its essence remain. So this is difficult for us as humans. We usually build our lives around familiar roles, relationships, plans, and ideas of who we are. And when one of those forms changes, we may wonder whether we're losing something essential about ourselves. Sometimes that change is really dramatic. Sometimes it's really quiet, a different way that we might be identifying, we might be spending our time differently, a truth that we can no longer set aside, or a small shift perhaps in what we want in life, what values we might be aligning with. And even a change that we've chosen comes with uncertainty. And when change is forced upon us, it takes time for us to feel our way through it. So if you find yourself in change and transformation right now, the records are inviting us to ask, what still holds true for me? Whether it's a value that you want to live by or a relationship that helps you feel like yourself, maybe it's your spiritual connection, your creativity, your capacity to live open-hearted, to care, to be innovative, to reinvent yourself or begin again, to find a moment of humor. We're asked to remember that the outer form of something can change while something essential remains inside of us that we can tap into and find a familiar thread, find a sense of grounding and rootedness in. For many of us, a sense of trust and familiarity may come from a sense of spiritual connection and trusting in a wiser self or some form of a higher plan. Trust does not require us to know what exactly comes next. It's just a willingness to stay with ourselves while the picture is still forming. The central question I heard from the records for November is can you find your inner harmony and a time of disharmony? What frequency are you tuning into right now? And this came through as a gentle check-in. It's not a demand or a requirement that we need to be peaceful all the time or somehow maintaining this very perfect zen-like calm or positive attitude if things are shifting or struggles are going on around us, or we are in the middle of a struggle. If something difficult's happening, of course we can still feel upset or worried or overwhelmed. That's just part of being human. But the invitation is that even inside that experience, we might find a moment of pause and ask ourselves what
we want to return to. How do we want to meet the moment? What might help us respond with a little more grace or honesty or good humor when those things are available and we feel like we're able to take a breath and access them? And sometimes the answer really is just that small. We might take a breath if something's happening around us that feels chaotic or overwhelming. We might just put our feet on the ground and stay connected to the earth. We might clean up a little piece of life and do something very mundane or very ordinary as a grounding ritual. Maybe we spend time with an activity, something we love to do that helps us feel more engaged in our heart or lights us up. It might be a familiar comfort ritual or just noticing one good thing in the day, one little moment that might have made things feel a little bit lighter or brighter without asking that to cancel out and negate any of the hard things that might be going on right now. So again, this guidance is not about this perfect tuning into frequency and being in a very light place if things feel hard. It's just a reminder that when we take a breath and get into our inner self, we can usually find a way to connect to our center and find some form of calm, some form of peace, some way of staying a little bit more anchored, even in times of profound transformation. Another piece of guidance, the record said for November, is not to force the bigger picture before it's ready. And if something feels a little fuzzy this month, then let it be fuzzy for now. We can take care of what is immediately before us without needing to know what it's turning into or how it's going to look six months or a year for now. And then the last piece of guidance that the records gave us for navigating the energy this month is to remember another time you move through change. How did you handle it? What helped? What did you learn that you could bring with you now? You might also notice people around you who seem to be meeting change in a way that seems real and positive or healthy. And you can look to them for inspiration and think about what they might teach you about how you too can navigate change. So, this guidance is about just using the resources available. When have you been through something before? And what did you learn about change during that time? See if you can connect with that or connect with how somebody else might be speaking to finding perspective during their own transformation journey or a time of change in their life. And so there was a really practical tone to the records this month when I asked for guidance on navigating the energy. And that's one thing I've always loved about working with the records. I feel like the guidance given seems very practical and very applicable and very grace-filled for the human journey. So, overall, the core theme for November is to look for the organizing threads, even when life feels scattered, and noticing the small signpost, what remains meaningful, what continues to call to you, and what helps you come back to yourself.
And remembering that you don't have to know the whole pattern, you don't have to have the big picture right now to find a through thread and to find a way to connect with your center this month. Tapping into the astrology a little bit, November is beginning in Scorpio season, which feels really fitting for this Akashic message because Scorpio invites us below the surface. It asks us to become curious about what is changing, what truth might be emerging, and what we understand differently when we're willing to look a little bit deeper. I think of Scorpio as an energy that digs for truth. Its insights come from reflection, honest conversations, and noticing something we felt for a while, but haven't been quite ready to name. I think we can approach this process with curiosity and experimentation and compassion rather than turning it into an interrogation of ourselves or feeling like we have to get to the heart of our deepest shadows inside of ourselves. It's more about paying attention to what themes are already coming up for you, what have you been working with and taking a little bit of time to stay curious, to self-reflect, to tune in, to look at what might be underneath a feeling or a thought that you're having about something, something that might feel some friction or you might be struggling with. And Scorpio season supports the kinds of insights that come through that kind of contemplation and reflection. We have a new moon in Scorpio falling on November 9th while Mercury is still in retrograde. So this could be a great time for inner reflection and planting a really quiet intention around healing or create a transformation, some form of personal transformation. With Mercury in retrograde, things often feel a little unclear. Mercury rules thoughts and are not only communication, but how we construct our thoughts. So if things feel a little bit fuzzy around this new moon, maybe that's how some of that akashic energy will show up for you. You don't need to force a super grounded intention. Just find small things that might be your next right step and allow those to be the intentions right now. And you might also just notice what in your life right now might feel a little bit ready for more intention or care or honesty or room to grow without needing to make some big plan or action step right now. And then around November 22nd, the energy shifts a lot. And I do feel like there's a shift coming as we move through the month in November, where we begin in this really deep matrix of transformation and big energies happening. And then it feels like there's a lot that is opening up towards the end of the month. And around the 22nd in November, it's Sagittarius season. And Sagittarius has a much more open energy. It's connected to Jupiter. And Jupiter is about expansion and philosophy and travel and exploration, giving ourselves more freedom and permission to expand. So if Scorpio asks us to dig for truth, then Sagittarius helps us lift our eyes towards the wider horizon and imagine what might be possible and to see the bigger vision for our life and connect to things that help us make meaning in our life. So an insight that might feel buried at the beginning of the month or just emerging might feel more clear towards the end of the month as we move through Sagittarius season. And then we have a full moon in Gemini on November 24th. And Gemini can bring attention to thoughts, beliefs, ideas, conversations, and creative connections. It may be a chance to notice the stories you've been telling yourself about change and which ones help you stay open and engaged with life. And also ask if there's another way to describe what you've been moving through and what you've been experiencing that might feel more honest and spacious and grace-filled. So none of these dates require a breakthrough or a big circle on the calendar. Though certainly do those things if you love tracking moon cycles and tracking astro dates. I think it's really fun. And in seasons where I have a lot more space, I can really like make bullet lists in my journal and write down what's coming and really follow it. And in seasons in life where I'm a lot more busy, sometimes I'm not tracking those things quite so precisely, but I always love looking at what do the energies of these signs mean? What do the energies of the planets mean? What might show up around a full moon? How is that different than a new moon? And I think when we work with these different cycles, it's another way to bring more meaning and sacred ordinary into our lives and to live with more intention and connection to some of the bigger cycles that are going on around
us. And that's probably a fun segue to share a little bit of a creative reflection right now because years ago, I really studied what are the different planets and what does astrology mean and how do some of these relationships work together? And I went down a rabbit hole of what's the symbolism behind different days and the weeks, and what's the symbolism behind different months? And it was really fun to look at the world itself as a living oracle or this greater web of intelligence and to take this responsibility to study some of the archetypes and symbols in different ways that might help me make more meaning of the day-to-day. And a lot of that work that I did back then, or I should say like fun work, fun exploration. And some of that got channeled into my books and came out in some of my creativity and other writings. But a lot of it I wrote down. I have all these notes in my journal and all this different old copy that I used to use when I was teaching more spiritually based classes and doing e-courses and all of that. And so I have been revisiting and diving into so many of those old Bethans circa 2018 through like 2020, 2021 over the past few months as I struck out on this new experience with creating Oracle decks and grounding myself more into a space of focusing my energy enough to actually create the product and figure out what next steps are. And so it's been interesting because creativity for me is a through thread. And I often find when the records are speaking to things like chaos energy and transformation and things happening around you, I have a lot going on around me at this time. And I've spoken about this on the podcast before of just having a lot of moving pieces in my life from aging animals to considerations coming up with my parents to things that are happening around my own home and community and communities that I might be connected to. And I've always noticed how easy it is to lose what holds meaning and value when things get really frazzled. And I feel like I could easily spend my day moving through to-dos and different tasks and all these things. And something that's been really sacred to me about this last season when I allowed myself to step back from making a weekly podcast. And at the time I wasn't sure if I was coming back or not. If you caught the episode in July, it was this combination of maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't. I don't know right now. I'm taking a break to be more available to my own soul and to listen to my own soul. And I can't hear its voice right now. I'm so busy with stuff that I'm doing, even good stuff, even things that I genuinely enjoy, those are active things that I'm doing. And I was lacking the space to receive and to really dig in and to really listen. And so when I took that leap of faith for myself and allowed things to change and allowed things to feel a little bit fuzzy. This is November's guidance that the records gave, but it really applies to how I felt then. Things were fuzzy. I didn't know what the big picture was. And I wasn't sure that was the end of your heart magic. And it was a great three and a half, almost four years, or if I'd be back. And a big part of what emerged in that season is how much I still love doing this. And I love sharing the records. I love sharing that wisdom. I am so glad for those who reach out and let me know it feels supportive or somehow it felt meaningful to you. And this other bigger vision that came through was this huge thing around creating Oracle decks and how I'm moving my work forward at the time. So for me, creativity is a true thread and it is an anchor to self. And I'm learning that when I start to lose that, it means I need to take a step back and start listening inward because I'm probably missing something that my inner self is trying to tell me. And whether or not you consider yourself a creative in an artistic sense, you have your own artistry in life. You have the things that hold meaning to you. You have the things that your soul is saying, like, hey, take a moment, find your center, take five minutes if you need to, take some time off if you need to, whatever you can carve out, even if you're still doing day-to-day life, let go of something for a while and listen inward. So you can hear what I have to say, and you can hear what helps me feel connected, what helps me feel anchored. And those are the things that inform how we might show up in the world in a way that we can live more creatively, that we're able to tune into a frequency of joy or connection or laughter or good humor, the things that might wear us down in life and take that away from us. The antidote is that listening inward, getting into our hearts, connecting with the truth of what helps us find harmony and then acting on it, figuring out a way to start bringing it into our life, even if it's just a little bit at a time.
So that brings me to the card of the month, which I want to share before we wrap this up today. And the card of the month that I chose is tiny anchors, which feels very appropriate to what we're talking about today. This month's card is from my flotsom and jetsum oracle. Again, it's tiny anchors. And the card speaks to the familiar, comforting things that help us feel a little more like ourselves when life is changing. And so this could be a favorite song, a few quiet moments before the day begins, time outside, your favorite mug that you put your coffee or your tea in, a beloved animal or plant or sacred corner in your home. Maybe it's a prayer or meditation or a creative practice that you can return to. But the overall guidance of this card is that these small things may not change our circumstances, but they offer us a place to rest and gather ourselves back in while we move through changing circumstances. And Tiny Anchors reminds us that even when the landscape changes, there are ways to return to what feels steady and true within us. So perhaps a question to Carrie this month is what is one small thing that helps me return to myself and how can I make a little room for it in November? And as a tiny aside, I am very close to being able to share this deck with everyone. I'm self-publishing it. So currently I'm waiting for my prototype deck. And depending on what needs revising and how long all those take will sort of depend on when it goes live. So stay tuned for updates. But I'm getting closer to letting it fly into the world and giving it wings. All right. Whatever is moving in your life right now, I hope you give yourself time to find your own rhythm within it. Be gentle to yourselves this month. Let the picture change at whatever pace it changes. You don't have to have it resolved right now. Just tend to what is right in front of you and trust that you can keep learning who you are as you go. Thank you so much for being here today. I will be back next month with a New Your Heart Magic podcast. And in the meantime, as always, be well, be love, be you, and be magic.
